The Problem I Solve
You're not struggling with English. You know the grammar. You have the vocabulary. But the moment the pressure is on - a big meeting, a job interview, a presentation in front of people who matter - it disappears. You go blank. You stumble. You walk away frustrated with yourself. That gap between what you know and what you can actually produce under pressure? That's what I built the Confidence Bridge Method to close.
Why I understand this
I've spent over 10,000 hours working with adult professionals across Europe, South America, and beyond. And the pattern I kept seeing wasn't a knowledge problem. It was an access problem, language that existed in the library but couldn't make it to the stage when it counted. I'm also an introvert. I know what it feels like to have something to say and not be able to get it out in the moment. That's not a language failure. It's a psychology problem, and psychology is at the heart of everything I do.
What makes me different
I don't correct you mid-sentence. I don't run generic lessons from a textbook. And I'm not here to give you more vocabulary lists. The Confidence Bridge Method works on three things: the psychology behind freezing, real-world practice in high-stakes scenarios, and ongoing support so you're never working through it alone. It's a 12-week programme, and it's specific, structured, and built around professionals like you.
'I want to share this message with my students...it’s ok to be real. In fact, it’s more than ok – by making mistakes and giving what we know the chance to shine (instead of feeling not good enough) we learn more effectively and can go further, faster.'
I retrained as an English language teacher in 2018 after over 10 years in marketing, and I genuinely haven't looked back. I hold a CELTA qualification, a 120-hour TEFL, and an MSc in Marketing from Northumbria University.
I also have two lung conditions - asthma and bronchiectasis. I mention this because it shaped something I bring into every session: the belief that imperfection is not a barrier. Sometimes I have to go off mic for a moment. That's fine. It's real. And real is exactly the environment my clients need to practise speaking in.
Outside of coaching, I'm a foster carer, so life is busy, full, and never dull. When I do get time to myself, you'll usually find me watching films, cooking good food, or unwinding at a soundbath.
